Scott Aiges is Director of Programs, Marketing & Communications for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation – the nonprofit that owns Jazz Fest. In that capacity he manages numerous programs in education, economic development and cultural enrichment. Among his responsibilities are producing four mid-size free festivals and four major jazz concerts each year, in addition to managing various grants programs conferences, the Heritage School of Music and other activities. Previously, he was Director of Music Business Development in the New Orleans Mayor’s Office and as a consultant to the State of Louisiana. He has also worked as a journalist and as a band manager and booking agent.
