If there is one thing that we Texans know how to do, it’s throw one hell of a party with some great live music! We’ll be serving up a good ole time at The Groove’s backyard stage with performances from John Moreland, Courtney Patton, Cory Branan, David Ramirez, The Howlin’ Brothers and Matt the Electrician (along with some very special guests!). We’ll be bringing some of the finest Texan spirits along with us, as well as East Nashville’s best taco truck!

David Ramirez

A man and his guitar…honest, unfiltered and true. In a landscape filled with Top 40 beats and harmonizing folk groups, a lone singer-songwriter definitely has his work cut out for him. Howlin' Brothers

The Howlin’ Brothers are a three-piece string band that brings heart and passion into every performance. Their upbeat shows are heavy with original and traditional music, featuring the sounds of slide banjo, harmonica and old-time fiddle. The Howlin’ Brothers just released their latest album “TROUBLE” produced by Brendan Benson for Readymade Records.  You will find them touring all over North America in... Read More →

Matt the Electrician

Matt the Electrician crafts sharp narratives with equal measures heart and home. Evidence: It’s a Beacon, It’s a Bell. The longtime Austin resident’s excellent new album showcases a seasoned songwriter in top form. “Look out the window at the road rushing by,” he sings on the stunning “Muddy Waters.” “The shatterproof glass breaking up in your eyes/Your own private movie when things fall...
